Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SynthLabTech platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SynthLabTech provides a deterministic synthetic data generation platform including tabular data generation (Rapid Mode), research-grade generation (Research Mode), industrial simulation (Virtual SCADA), security dataset generation (ICS Security), conversational AI orchestration, and evidence bundle verification.

3. Account Registration

You must register an organization account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate data that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Exceed your plan quotas through automated or abusive means.
  • Share API keys or grant unauthorized access to your tenant environment.
  • Use generated synthetic data in ways that misrepresent it as real data without appropriate disclosure.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform (reference datasets). SynthLabTech does not claim ownership of your generated synthetic data or evidence bundles. We process your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Billing and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Service Level

SynthLabTech targets 99.9% uptime for the API and platform services. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated in advance. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees with defined response times and remedies.

8. Determinism Guarantee

SynthLabTech guarantees that given an identical Contract K (generation specification), the platform will produce bit-for-bit identical output. This guarantee is backed by cryptographic evidence in every evidence bundle. If a determinism failure is identified, contact support for investigation and remediation.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNTHLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be deleted within 30 days. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
